Iran still photo event unveils nominees

Iranian Society of Still Photographers has announced nomination picks for the 3rd edition of an affiliated photo contest.

Photographers Sahab Zaribaf, Amirhossein Shojaei, Fattah Zinouri, Ahmad Reza Shojaei and Mehdi Delkhasteh are among the nominees.

Cinema producer Fereshteh Taerpour and cinematographer Turaj Mansuri will also be honored with lifetime achievement awards at the 3rd Iranian Society of Still Photographers Celebration.  

The organizers will also honor best film photographer of the year, veteran photographers and new talents.

The ceremonies are slated to be held July 4 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
